Google reported interested in NE base

The Press and Journal is running a story today that Google is
interested in using part of the former Inverurie Paper Mill as a
Scottish green-powered data centre.
If the story is true then it is cheering news, especially at a time when traditional businesses are still tightening belts.

Google is one of the world’s best-known superbrands and, like Trump International Golf Links Scotland, a decision to locate in Aberdeen City and Shire would be significant beyond the direct economic benefit.
