The Camphill Movement, which began in Aberdeen and now extends to more than a hundred centres in 23 countries, works to create communities in which vulnerable children and adults, many with learning disabilities, can live, learn and work with others in healthy social relationships based on mutual care and respect. More than 700 people live and work on six Camphill communities in Aberdeen City and Shire.

People First Scotland (Scotland) Aberdeen Branch
People First Scotland is a self advocacy organisation for people with learning difficulties. The Aberdeen group meet once every 4 weeks at Quaker House, Crown Street, Aberdeen.
The group work in conjunction with other People First groups within Scotland and their aim is to promote input to legislation and ensure people with learning difficulties are being treated equally and with respect within society.
