The Butterfly Trust


The Butterfly Trust provides support in the community for people affected by cystic fibrosis throughout Scotland. Our team of trained volunteers provide face to face support services that include emotional support, help to negotiate official systems in regard to housing, education and employment issues, mentoring for young people with cystic fibrosis, massage therapy for young adults with the condition and transport to hospital appointments for people who are not sick enough to qualify for mobility help and cannot afford a car. Camphill School Aberdeen


The Camphill Movement which now extends to 100 centres in 20 countries began at Camphill House in Milltimber, Aberdeen, which is part of Camphill School Aberdeen to this day. The school provides residential and non-residential education, care and therapy for pupils and students with additional support needs. It also provides wide ranging services including intervention, emergency cares, respite, support, guidance and training. People First Scotland (Scotland) Aberdeen Branch


People First Scotland is a self advocacy organisation for people with learning difficulties. The Aberdeen group meet once every 4 weeks at Quaker House, Crown Street, Aberdeen. The group work in conjunction with other People First groups within Scotland and their aim is to promote input to legislation and ensure people with learning difficulties are being treated equally and with respect within society.
